    [cuvs]耶和华神所造的,惟有蛇比田野一切的活物更狡猾。蛇对女人说,神岂是真说,不许你们吃园中所有树上的果子麽。

    [bbe]Now the snake was wiser than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, Has God truly said that you may not take of the fruit of any tree in the garden?
    [kjv]Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

    [bbe]And the woman said, We may take of the fruit of the trees in the garden:

    [cuvs]惟有园当中那棵树上的果子,神曾说,你们不可吃,也不可摸,免得你们死。

    [bbe]But of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, If you take of it or put your hands on it, death will come to you.
    [kjv]But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

    [bbe]And the snake said, Death will not certainly come to you:
    [kjv]And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

    [bbe]For God sees that on the day when you take of its fruit, your eyes will be open, and you will be as gods, having knowledge of good and evil.
    [kjv]For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

    [cuvs]于是女人见那棵树的果子好作食物,也悦人的眼目,且是可喜爱的,能使人有智慧,就摘下果子来吃了。又给她丈夫,她丈夫也吃了。

    [bbe]And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and a delight to the eyes, and to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit, and gave it to her husband.
    [kjv]And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

    [bbe]And their eyes were open and they were conscious that they had no clothing and they made themselves coats of leaves stitched together.

    [bbe]And there came to them the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the evening wind: and the man and his wife went to a secret place among the trees of the garden, away from the eyes of the Lord God.
    [kjv]And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

    [bbe]And the voice of the Lord God came to the man, saying, Where are you?
    [kjv]And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

    [bbe]And he said, Hearing your voice in the garden I was full of fear, because I was without clothing: and I kept myself from your eyes.
    [kjv]And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

    [cuvs]耶和华说,谁告诉你赤身露体呢,莫非你吃了我吩咐你不可吃的那树上的果子麽。

    [bbe]And he said, Who gave you the knowledge that you were without clothing? Have you taken of the fruit of the tree which I said you were not to take?
    [kjv]And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

    [cuvs]那人说,你所赐给我,与我同居的女人,她把那树上的果子给我,我就吃了。
    [cuvt]那人說、你所賜給我、與我同居的女人、他把那樹上的果子給我、我就喫了。
    [bbe]And the man said, The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me the fruit of the tree and I took it.
    [kjv]And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

    [cuvs]耶和华神对女人说,你作的是什么事呢。女人说,那蛇引诱我,我就吃了。

    [bbe]And the Lord God said to the woman, What have you done? And the woman said, I was tricked by the deceit of the snake and I took it.
    [kjv]And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

    [cuvs]耶和华神对蛇说,你既作了这事,就必受咒诅,比一切的牲畜野兽更甚。你必用肚子行走,终身吃土。

    [bbe]And the Lord God said to the snake, Because you have done this you are cursed more than all cattle and every beast of the field; you will go flat on the earth, and dust will be your food all the days of your life:
    [kjv]And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

    [cuvs]我又要叫你和女人彼此为仇。你的后裔和女人的后裔也彼此为仇。女人的后裔要伤你的头,你要伤他的脚跟。

    [bbe]And there will be war between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed: by him will your head be crushed and by you his foot will be wounded.
    [kjv]And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

    [cuvs]又对女人说,我必多多加增你怀胎的苦楚,你生产儿女必多受苦楚。你必恋慕你丈夫,你丈夫必管辖你。
    [cuvt]又對女人說、我必多多加增你懷胎的苦楚、你生產兒女必多受苦楚.你必戀慕你丈夫、你丈夫必管轄你。
    [bbe]To the woman he said, Great will be your pain in childbirth; in sorrow will your children come to birth; still your desire will be for your husband, but he will be your master.
    [kjv]Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

    [cuvs]又对亚当说,你既听从妻子的话,吃了我所吩咐你不可吃的那树上的果子,地必为你的缘故受咒诅。你必终身劳苦,才能从地里得吃的。
    [cuvt]又對亞當說、你既聽從妻子的話、喫了我所吩咐你不可喫的那樹上的果子、地必為你的緣故受咒詛.你必終身勞苦、纔能從地裡得喫的。
    [bbe]And to Adam he said, Because you gave ear to the voice of your wife and took of the fruit of the tree which I said you were not to take, the earth is cursed on your account; in pain you will get your food from it all your life.
    [kjv]And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

    [bbe]Thorns and waste plants will come up, and the plants of the field will be your food;
    [kjv]Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

    [cuvs]你必汗流满面才得糊口,直到你归了土,因为你是从土而出的。你本是尘土,仍要归于尘土。

    [bbe]With the hard work of your hands you will get your bread till you go back to the earth from which you were taken: for dust you are and to the dust you will go back.
    [kjv]In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

    [bbe]And the Lord God said, Now the man has become like one of us, having knowledge of good and evil; and now if he puts out his hand and takes of the fruit of the tree of life, he will go on living for ever.
    [kjv]And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

    [cuvs]耶和华神便打发他出伊甸园去,耕种他所自出之土。

    [bbe]So the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to be a worker on the earth from which he was taken.
    [kjv]Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

    [cuvs]于是把他赶出去了。又在伊甸园的东边安设基路伯和四面转动发火焰的剑,要把守生命树的道路。

    [bbe]So he sent the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden he put winged ones and a flaming sword turning every way to keep the way to the tree of life.
    [kjv]So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
