17:1

17:2
[cuvs]就是把磨石拴在这人的颈项上，丢在海里，还强如他把这小子里的一个绊倒了。

[bbe]It would be well for him if a great stone was put round his neck and he was dropped into the sea, before he made trouble for any of these little ones.
[kjv]It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
17:3
[cuvs]你们要谨慎。若是你们的弟兄得罪你，就劝戒他。他若懊悔，就饶恕他。

[bbe]Give attention to yourselves: if your brother does wrong, say a sharp word to him; and if he has sorrow for his sin, let him have forgiveness.
[kjv]Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
17:4
[cuvs]倘若他一天七次得罪你，又七次回转说，我懊悔了，你总要饶恕他。

[bbe]And if he does you wrong seven times in a day, and seven times comes to you and says, I have regret for what I have done; let him have forgiveness.

17:5

[bbe]And the Lord said, If your faith was only as great as a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this tree, Be rooted up and planted in the sea; and it would be done.
[kjv]And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
17:7
[cuvs]你们谁有仆人耕地，或是放羊，从田里回来，就对他说，你快来坐下吃饭呢。

[bbe]But which of you, having a servant who is ploughing or keeping sheep, will say to him, when he comes in from the field, Come now and be seated and have a meal,
[kjv]But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
17:8
[cuvs]岂不对他说，你给我豫备晚饭，束上带子伺候我，等我吃喝完了，你才可以吃喝麽。

[bbe]Will he not say, Get a meal for me, and make yourself ready and see to my needs till I have had my food and drink; and after that you may have yours?
[kjv]And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
17:9
[cuvs]仆人照所吩咐的去作，主人还谢谢他麽。

[bbe]Does he give praise to the servant because he did what was ordered?
[kjv]Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
17:10
[cuvs]这样，你们作完了一切所吩咐的，只当说，我们是无用的仆人。所作的本是我们应分作的。

[bbe]In the same way, when you have done all the things which are given you to do, say, There is no profit in us, for we have only done what we were ordered to do.
[kjv]So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
17:11

[bbe]Have not any of them come back to give glory to God, but only this one from a strange land?

[bbe]And he said to him, Get up, and go on your way; your faith has made you well.

[bbe]And when the Pharisees put questions to him about when the kingdom of God would come, he gave them an answer and said, The kingdom of God will not come through observation:

[bbe]And men will not say, See, it is here! or, There! for the kingdom of God is among you.

[bbe]And he said to his disciples, The time will come when you will have a great desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, but you will not see it.

[bbe]And if they say to you, See, it is there! or, It is here! do not go away, or go after them.

[bbe]For as in a thunderstorm the bright light is seen from one end of the sky to the other, so will the Son of man be when his time comes.

[bbe]And as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the day of the Son of man.

[bbe]But on the day when Lot went out of Sodom, fire came down from heaven and destruction came on them all.
